A source claimed that Kidman has always wanted to adopt a baby, but Urban wasn’t initially on board so she was forced to postpone her plans. But during the COVID-19 pandemic, the country musician had a change of heart.

“This will be Nicole’s third time through the adoption process, and for her, it’s the most magical, exciting experience. What’s even more amazing this time is around is she’s crazy in love with her husband and they have two amazing girls who are just as excited as she is about having a little brother or sister,” a source said.

“They’ve wanted to do this for a long time but life, pandemic, and work all got in the way. This year they’re scheduling their commitments around some serious family time. The paperwork’s all done and with the state of the world right now, they expect it won’t take the usual long wait. The whole family is tripping over themselves with excitement,” the source said.

As of late, there’s no proof that Kidman has plans to adopt another baby. The actress previously adopted two children while she was still married to Tom Cruise, and her relationship with Bella and Connor, reportedly, became estranged for quite some time. In 2018, the actress broke her silence over her relationship with her children and said that she’s very private about these things.

“I have to protect all those relationships. I know 150 percent that I would give up my life for my children because it’s what my purpose is. They’re adults. They are able to make their own decisions. They have made choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, it’s my job to love them,” she told the WHO magazine.
