She was hosting one of the biggest television events of the year on Wednesday night. So Fergie naturally wanted to look her very best as she fronted the West Coast’s popular musical extravaganza Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest, held at CBS Television City in Los Angeles, where she was also performing.

The Black Eyed Peas singer pulled out all the stops, orchestrating an impressive five outfit changes to ensure she looked fabulously festive as she rung in the New Year. Fergie’s standout look was an emerald green dress with sparkly embellishment and geometric lines emblazoned on a nude shift.
The optical illusion gown was completed by a bold faux choker which gave the look a mermaid vibe, as did her loose beachy waves. The 39-year-old star – who has son Axl with her husband, actor Josh Duhamel – was a permanent fixture on stage since she was tasked with announcing the acts, so switched up her look halfway through.
She re-emerged in a striking two-tone minidress, with one half made of futuristic silver material and the other cut to look like a smart black blazer. Fergie set off the statement look with a slick of bright red lipstick and a pair of killer heels.

The singer then had another quick change before performing her upbeat track L.A. Love in a multicoloured silk kimono. She sent the crowd wild as she shimmied across the stage in the exotic outfit, which highlighted her toned legs. Fergie later came back to take to the mic for throwback ballad Big Girls Don’t Cry, dressed in a bohemian outfit comprising high-waisted mini shorts and a clashing printed shirt.
The star’s responsibilities didn’t end there, however, since she also hosted the Billboard Hollywood Party for the ninth time in a row, donning a clingy leopard print dress. One thing’s for certain – the star must have been exhausted at the end of the night.
