The stunning mezzo-soprano looked like she’d stepped straight out of a Disney film in her glamorous golden ball gown. The fairytale number featured a strapless bodice with beading embellishment and billowed down to the floor in a puffy tulle skirt.
Katherine set off the dress with silver drop earrings and bright red lipstick. The Welsh songbird serenaded the crowd with her classical crossover melodies, performing songs including Welsh anthem Land Of My Fathers and moving tune In The Arms Of The Angel.
The 34-year-old beauty, who was accompanied by a full orchestra, was thrilled with the positive response from the audience and smiled sweetly as they gave her a standing ovation. Katherine’s performance comes just after she confessed she had sadly been unable to celebrate Valentine’s Day in the company of her American artist husband, Andrew Levitas.
The couple tied the knot last September, but their busy schedules kept them apart during their first romantic holiday as husband and wife. ‘We did just do our first Valentine’s Day apart because he’s in Los Angeles at the moment. Thank goodness for FaceTime and Skype.’

Revealing how the pair are trying to make time for each other, she said during an appearance on ITV’s Loose Women: ‘I’ve learnt over past ten years that it has to be a two-way street. ‘When I was here promoting the album last year, he had an exhibition in London. And when he does a film in Africa, I’ll have to go out there with him so it’s a little bit of give and take, just supporting each other.’
