There’s always plenty of thought that goes into Rita Ora’s wardrobe choices. So imagine her dismay when she decided to make four outfit changes in one night for BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards 2014 on Sunday. As the evening progressed at London’s Wembley Arena, guest host Rita took to the stage in an impressive string of ensembles, from a patriotic Ginger Spice-inspired Union Jack dress to a plunging red velvet jumpsuit.

Touching down on the red carpet at the start of the day, Rita Ora played it relatively safe – but still sexy – as though spring had sprung again in her floral dress. Owning the stage with her close pal Nick Grimshaw – the official host of the awards bash – Rita switched up her style a further three times.
The outfits featured a British flag dress, a scarlet cow girl get up and even had her plucking from the fancy dress box to try on a masculine moustached look. Swallowing her pride for the teen-attended event, the Hot Right Now songstress donned oversized slacks, a handlebar moustach and a cartoon T-shirt for a skit with breakfast presenter Nick. Luckily, the singer made up for the moment of madness in a big way with her red carpet get up.

Wearing her blonde locks down in loose Hollywood-style curls, she rocked the embellished floral applique dress with absolute panache. The mini dress was cut high above her knees, as she showed her enviable pins off outside the venue, which saw American superstar Ariana Grande take to the stage among other performers. The long-sleeved detailed dress was cut away into a deep plunging neckline, with a extra cut-out just below her chest giving a sneak peek of her belly button.
The How We Do hitmaker combined her directional flowery frock with punky, black studded sandals, that added an edge to her overall look.
As ever, the 23-year-old singer opted for a scarlet shade on her lips, with a matching red on her long nails. Ever the professional, Rita went over to greet fans who had congregated at the world-famous venue, and taking selfies with them.
She looked the epitome of spring-time chic as she posed on the red carpet at the event, which celebrates inspirational young people and celebrities as they are given awards in a variety of categories. This year’s BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards were hosted by DJ Nick Grimshaw, who cosied up to pal and co-host for the afternoon Rita Ora on the red carpet.
