One of Asia’s fastest growing eCommerce apparel disrupters with US $16 million in funding, GRANA will be hosting a series of pop-up showrooms titled GRANA Goes across the US starting with New York City on August 11th at 156 Orchard Street in the Lower East Side.
The pop-up series continues GRANA’s rapid expansion, reporting 210% business growth from Q2 2016 to Q2 2017 in the U.S.,as millennial consumers are increasingly shopping online for affordable quality basics.
The brand will take over the space for a three-day pop-up experience to introduce GRANA’s obsession with lowering the market price of luxury fabrics for minimalist millennials through showcasing its top selling styles. Fans of the brand can shop the new fall pieces IRL for the first time, experience its ‘try offline, buy online’ concept to see the styles, feel the fabric, and find the right fit. Customers making purchases in-store will meet the team, receive free express shipping, and a GRANA linen tote bag.
“It’s been a long time coming. We explored having a flagship space and decided to go with popping up instead – it makes more sense given the high rents in New York and being sustainable as an online startup. New York is our fastest growing city driving sales in the U.S., with the country being our biggest market this year. We wanted it to be our first stop to meet customers and build our local community awareness,” said Luke Grana, CEO & Founder at GRANA.
The brand aims to build local community awareness through the pop-up series and will partner with local talent in each city. The New York pop-up will feature an art installation from James Goldcrown and a morning running session on August 12th with local wellness blogger and clean eating advocate Lottie Bildirici, from Running on Veggies.
