Amber Rose Paid Homage To Rapper Pop Smoke Days Before His Death

Taking to Instagram, Amber Rose said she and her baby daddy, Alexander “AE” Edwards, who is a music executive, are in shock over Pop Smoke’s death. She also revealed the rapper was supposed to come to her home today.

Amber Rose says everyone at her house is “crying” right now after hearing the news that rapper Pop Smoke was gunned down in his Hollywood Hills home on Tuesday morning. Muva took to Instagram hours after his death to remember the up and coming rapper, recalling how she had just paid tribute to him days ago.

As The Blast reported, cops were called early Tuesday morning with reports that multiple men had broken into the home wearing masks and one had a gun. Pop Smoke had been renting the house from “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Teddi Mellencamp.

“Damn Pop I paid homage to you just the other day Bro,” she wrote, referencing her recreating his “Meet The Woo” album cover. “Everyone in our house is crying for you right now. You were supposed to come over here today.” Telling fans Pop Smoke’s greatest traits, she continued, “He was so funny, talented and humble af! He didn’t deserve this.”

Alexander “AE” Edwards is sharing his own tearful tribute. “U were more than a star. Ur heart was gold. U brought smiles to everybody,” he began. “The most powerful thing 1 can do, is make some1 smile. To impact some1 positively. To make them feel good about who they are. That was You.”

Revealing that he usually doesn’t post about someone after they die, “AE” said Pop Smoke’s passing is an exception. “This weak ass fuckin post does nothing. But, I want 2 let as many people as I can know u embodied a true soul, & characteristics a father would want to see in his son.

Ur spirit deserves for the world 2 know,” he wrote while revealing they were just in the studio together days ago. Amber Rose and Alexander “AE” Edwards aren’t the only ones paying tribute to the rapper. Nicki Minaj, who remixed his hit “Welcome To The Party,” shared her own post writing, “The Bible tells us that jealousy is as cruel as the grave.

Unbelievable. Rest In Peace, Pop.” 50 Cent mirrored Nicki’s thoughts and posted a snap with Pop Smoke with the caption, “No such thing as success with out [sic] jealousy, treachery comes from those who are close. R.i.P.” At the time of this post, the suspects are still on the loose. Pop Smoke was only 20 years old.
