On Tuesday, Azealia Banks targeted Zayn Malik as one of the latest victims of her insane, inappropriate, and all-out-awful Twitter rants. It all started when the rapper picked up on some similarities between her music video for Chasing Time and the One Direction alum’s recent release for Like I Would.
But after the cute crooner made some vague comments about "reaching," and his mentions being "too good for you," the New York native believed the posts were directed at her and went OFF on a repulsively racist and homophobic tirade against the UK heartthrob. When the gorgeous guy got wind of the disgusting drama, he actually responded to the artist! And it turns out those tweets that sparked all of the 212 songsmith’s controversial comments had absolutely NOTHING to do with her, because the 23-year-old wrote:

So all of that was literally for nothing?! UGH. But we must say, we’re incredibly impressed with the former 1D hunk’s ability to respond respectfully and maturely to all the hate Miz Banks was spewing! We just wish we could say the same for her… The 24-year-old (dis)graced the social media site again on Wednesday to clarify the rude remarks she made about the ex boy bander, as well as that awful fight she got into with 14-year-old Disney darling Skai Jackson.

She also included a series of screenshots in which she explains that she went after Zayn because she wanted to remind him they’re "in the same boat." She also justified her attack against the Jessie actress, since she SWEARS it was really her mom at the keyboard. Because that makes it okay to say what she said.
