Ben Affleck was spotted looking completely knackered as he stepped out in LA on Sunday, with fresh reports swirling about a clash between him and ex-wife Jennifer Lopez over the sale of their former £55 million marital home.

The actor and filmmaker, who officially wrapped up his divorce from Lopez back in February, kept it casual with a beige coat layered over a grey vest, paired with blue jeans and black shoes. But it wasn’t his outfit catching attention — it was how drained he looked, and now it’s easy to see why.

According to reports, Affleck and Lopez are at serious odds over the fate of their stunning Beverly Hills mansion, where they once lived together. Word is, Ben’s keen to slash the asking price just to get the property off their hands quickly, while JLo’s digging her heels in, believing they can still fetch a much bigger sum.

“Ben just wants to get rid of it because their divorce is over and he wants to cut all ties and have it be done,” an insider spilled to Us Weekly, painting a picture of a man who’s absolutely ready to move on.

Meanwhile, Lopez is apparently still holding out for the full whack. She’s reportedly convinced they can still get top dollar for the mega-mansion, and isn’t in any hurry to budge on the price tag. It’s clear that what’s meant to be a straightforward sale is turning into yet another headache for the former couple.

The source added that Affleck is so fed up he’s willing to “reduce the price” just to speed things along and be done with it. Given the size of the place and the kind of cash involved, it’s no surprise the sale has become another battleground between the two.

Sunday’s sighting of Ben looking tired and worn has only added fuel to the fire, with fans worrying the drama is clearly taking a toll on him. It’s been a rough few months for the Hollywood star, and from the outside looking in, it seems like he’s desperate to put the entire chapter behind him for good.

For now, though, it looks like the mansion — and the memories tied up in it — are proving much harder to shift than he’d hoped.
