This week, Us Weekly published a photo of the German model seemingly sporting a growing baby bump. And the tabloid immediately speculated on the possibility that Brad Pitt could be the father.
In the snap, Poturalski’s abdominal area looks enlarged. However, this isn’t enough proof to say that the 27-year-old model is indeed expecting.
Still, the tabloid insisted that this could be the case.
“If Nicole is pregnant, there’s a chance it could be Brad’s baby. He was obviously in France with her through late August, which would put her around the five-month mark,” the source said.
The tabloid then noted the fact that Poturalski is married to Roland Mary, and they share a son together.
As such, if Poturalski is indeed pregnant, Mary could be the father of her child.
“Obviously, Brad and Nicole haven’t confirmed if she is or isn’t expecting. But there’s certainly a lot of buzz about the possibility,” the source said.
Pitt and Poturalski split last year shortly after news broke that they’re dating.
Back in October, a source said that the former couple’s relationship just fizzled out.
“They had a wonderful time together, but things fizzled out. Ultimately the timing was off and it was an impractical situation for both of them,” the source said.
The tabloid’s source claimed that Poturalski was the one that initiated the split.
“She and Brad had a strong attraction, but the reality was that she wasn’t going to uproot her life in Germany for him. Brad was totally understanding,” the source said.
The source then speculated on how Mary would react if he found out that Poturalski is pregnant with Pitt’s child.
“Roland is said to be a peaceful, pragmatic guy who never had an issue with Brad. Roland would likely react calmly and try to work through it, but there’s no way of predicting if she would want to be with Brad in the long term. I imagine they’d just take one step at a time, but certainly they’d get together to discuss the practicalities,” the source said.
However, the tabloid’s claims about Brad Pitt and Poturalski expecting a child together aren’t true.
