Pitt and Aniston were both present at this week’s Oscars, but they weren’t photographed at the awards show. But Page Six reported that the former couple hung out briefly at the Oscars after-party.
The “Friends” alum reportedly congratulated Pitt on his big win at the Oscars, but it was evident that there was no sizzle between them this time around.
Weeks ago, Pitt and Aniston convinced fans that there’s hope for them to reunite after their body language showed that they are still very comfortable with each other.
While speaking with Good Housekeeping, body language expert Patti Wood analyzed some of the photos of Pitt and Aniston and said that there’s obviously still trust between the former couple.
“It indicates that she trusts him… she’s giving her weight forward. She is not making it too sexual because she’s got her feet back, but the photo to me shows trust,” Wood said.
In the same photo, Pitt and Aniston showed signs of affection, and both of their cheeks were raised because they were smiling happily.
“So little of their faces are showing and yet we know they’re joyful and I just love that moment of absolute intimacy between them. That’s not for the cameras, they’re sharing that joy,” she said.
In the second photo, Pitt and Aniston are staring into each other’s eyes. The “Ad Astra” star is also holding his award down low, which suggested that it wasn’t that important to him at that moment.
Pitt’s other hand is holding Aniston’s wrist as though he was telling his ex-wife that he doesn’t want to let her go, and he wants her to come closer.
