Britney Spears has been making headlines recently since the release of the Hulu documentary, Framing Britney Spears, but the 39-year-old singer seemed unbothered when she took to Instagram to show off her impressive dance moves and weight loss transformation.
Spears shared an interpretive dance to Otis Redding’s ‘Sittin’ On The Dock Of The Bay,’ and revealed in the caption how she worked to tone up her already slim figure.
Britney has been known to share fun dance videos to social media, but has notably taken a break from them in the past month. But on February 23 she was back and better than ever, showing off her toned arms and abs which she revealed were a result of portion control and her love of dance.
Spears wrote in the caption, “The last video that I posted of me dancing was from months ago …hence why my body looks a little different in this new video !!!! No … I didn’t follow through with the ice cream diet 😂🍦 …. I chose portion control which is very hard when it comes to Doritos 🙈🤣 !!!!! On a positive note … my body does feel way better now!”
Earlier in the month Spears revealed on social media that she was trying out an ice cream diet, where the only food she consumed for breakfast, lunch and dinner was ice cream. However, she quickly debunked this fad, citing portion control as the cause for her enviable frame. Britney always looks great but she is undeniably more toned as a result of her diet and rigorous dance routine.
Since the initial video, Spears has posted several more of her dancing to both Selena Gomez and the song Senorita. Fans have flocked to the comments, showing the singer love as she shows off her skills, and sharing promises to help “free her,” as per the documentary. One fan wrote, “ma’am we’re getting you outta there,” and another added, “I’ve never seen anyone do creative dance like Britney Spears. It’s one of a kind.”
