Jenner, a trans woman herself, is upset that Allyson Felix was not given the same opportunity by Nike. Jenner attacked Nike’s choice in a social media post on Thursday, saying the sportswear manufacturer is being “so woke” by passing on Felix for an endorsement agreement.
Jenner praised Mulvaney for getting the contract, but she voiced her displeasure with Nike’s past with Felix, who said the business gave her a 70% wage reduction and turned down her requests for maternity leave after she became pregnant in 2017. Felix’s agreement with Nike, therefore, came to an end, and she subsequently joined Athleta.
Jenner thinks Nike should have treated Felix with more respect and not just given Mulvaney money. She uttered: “We can be inclusive without harming the vast majority of people and maintain some dignity at the same time.
This is unacceptable.”
Caitlyn Jenner slams Nike for their partnership with trans activist Dylan Mulvaney:
“It is a shame to see such an iconic American company go so woke! We can be inclusive but not at the expense of the mass majority of people, and have some decency while being inclusive. This is… pic.twitter.com/1WG4oaaoiU

Jenner is irritated because she admires Phil Knight, the founder of Nike, and the company’s legendary stature in American society. Nike’s preference for Mulvaney over Felix, in her opinion, is a terrible representation of the company’s principles.
“It is disappointing to see such a venerable American firm turn so woke, as someone who grew up in admiration of what Phil Knight accomplished!” Jenner remarked.
While Mulvaney’s earnings from the arrangement are unknown, her over two million Instagram followers imply that she earned a sizeable payment.
Jenner is hardly the only Olympian who has voiced displeasure with Nike’s choice. Nike should be boycotted, according to silver medallist Sharron Davies, who termed the company’s action “a jab in the teeth” to women.
Now, Mulvaney’s business decisions have also come under investigation. In protest over her relationship with Bud Light, singer Kid Rock started firing beer cans. Jenner and other Olympians have criticized Nike, but the company has not yet replied.
As someone that grew up in awe of what Phil Knight did, it is a shame to see such an iconic American company go so woke! We can be inclusive but not at the expense of the mass majority of people, and have some decency while being inclusive. This is an outrage. https://t.co/VJoLCvTyBt
