For the last several months, the entire royal family has been in lockdown to help stop the spread of the global coronavirus pandemic. Queen Elizabeth has been in isolation at Windsor Castle while Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles have spent the last several weeks at their private estate at Balmoral Castle.
Prince William and Kate Middleton, meanwhile, have been isolated at home in Norfolk with their three children. Along with Princess Anne, the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall are one of the first royals to finally emerge from quarantine to be back at work again.
According to Hello Magazine, Charles and Camilla were all smiles when they arrived at the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital near their home at Highgrove House. Royal observers noticed that the royal couple mostly kept their hands behind their backs and stayed about six feet apart from everyone else, as part of the UK’s new social distancing and health guidelines.
During this same time, Prince William was also seen visiting King’s Lynn Ambulance Station to thank their staff for their dedication and work during the pandemic. Unfortunately, Kate Middleton was nowhere to be seen, leaving her as the one senior member of the royal family who is yet to make an appearance in public.
For a lot of loyal fans, this is rather telling, seeing how Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, and even Princess Anne are hitting the ground running with their royal engagements. This definitely gives Camilla a huge advantage over Kate as it once again signals that the Duchess of Cornwall is truly dedicated to her work as a member of the royal family and of course, the next Queen Consort of England. Do you agree?
While Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles look like they are both willing and ready to meet and greet the public again, so far Kensington Palace has made no comments on whether or not Prince William and Kate Middleton plan on doing the same.
