Supermodel Cara Delevingne immediately started turning heads Tuesday night as soon as she stepped onto the red carpet at the 2014 GQ Men of the Year Awards. In still life, she’s one of the hottest faces in the fashion world. But in motion, Cara Delevingne’s naughty streak comes out to play, as she proved when she took a tumble inside the GQ Men Of The Year Awards on Tuesday night.
The Brit fashion model may have started the night with all of the glamour of a vintage Hollywood icon, but the party girl ended it with some of her notoriously wild antics. Once she entered the venue to see Kim Kardashian win Woman of the Year, the 22-year-old had a little -OK, maybe a major – misstep.
The model was in the presence of fashion royalty, which is not something she’s unfamiliar with, but instead of bowing down to design God Jonathan Saunders, Cara appeared to have wrestled him to the ground after proceedings had ended.
Photographers spotted Delevingne lose her footing, which resulted in her falling straight to the ground. Luckily, fashion designer Jonathan Saunders was nearby to help the supermodel up. ‘Such a gentleman!‘
Cara is known for her revelling party ways and it seemed that with a full night of drinking, letting her hair down was just a little too hard to resist. Having flown in to London that afternoon, it was a quick change for natural beauty Cara who needed very little to capture all eyes on the red carpet. The model was clearly excited about the industry event as she quite literally pulled cartwheels through Heathrow airport earlier that night.
Kim Kardashian and Rita Ora followed Delevingne’s trend by wearing similar sheer gowns that showcased their fabulous figures. Other stars in attendance at the annual party included Benedict Cumberbatch, Kanye West, Jamie Dornan, Ellie Goulding, Colin Firth and Jonah Hill. No word on if any of these famous faces witnessed Delevingne’s graceful fall.
