Earlier this year, National Enquirer claimed that Carrie Underwood has become obsessed with working out.
Following the birth of her youngest son, Underwood, allegedly, realized that her metabolism has changed. And since she’s worried that she won’t be able to get rid of her pregnancy weight, she started working out nonstop.
A source told the tabloid that the singer’s obsession with working out is causing problems in her marriage to Mike Fisher.
After all, the American Idol winner is just spending most of her time at the gym instead of with her husband and kids.
The insider claimed that Fisher confronted Underwood about her inability to spend quality time with him, but she didn’t listen.
According to the source, Underwood’s obsession with working out has become quite extreme. After all, whenever she would carbs, she would work out at night while her kids are asleep.
The tabloid claimed that this kind of behavior is closely associated with eating disorders. But ironically, they also said that Underwood’s fans shouldn’t be concerned.
However, Gossip Cop debunked the tabloid’s claims by calling them baseless and nonsensical. After all, it’s evident that the tabloid assumed that Underwood is obsessed with working out because she regularly posts about her routine on social media.
But working out regularly doesn’t equate to being obsessed with working out. And there’s also no way for a tabloid to have known that the singer also works out when her family is asleep.
The rumor-debunking site also pointed out that Underwood’s healthy lifestyle isn’t taking a toll on her marriage.
After all, Fisher is a retired hockey player so he’s also used to working out and eating healthily. In fact, the couple uses their time at the gym as the perfect way to bond with each other.
Underwood and Fisher have also been at the center of ongoing divorce rumors.
Star claimed that the country singer to her close friends that after nine years of marriage, she’s ready to divorce Fisher.
The insider said that Carrie Underwood isn’t a quitter. So, admitting that they’re having problems has been difficult for her.
