PRIZED DESIGNS: The Hyeres fashion festival has just gained another prize. French fashion house Chloe said it will launch the Chloe Prize at the 27th International Festival of Fashion and Photography in the French Riviera town. The festival, which this year runs from April 27 to 30, is a platform for emerging talent that has helped launch the careers of stars such as Viktor & Rolf and Felipe Oliveira Baptista.
Ten participants will create a silhouette in the spirit of Chloe to compete for the award, worth 15,000 euros, or around $20,000 at current exchange. Chloe, an official partner of the festival, said it had committed to awarding the prize for the next three years.
