However, Chris would also remember Oscars 2019 for the year he presented an award with his “crush” Jennifer Lopez. The Marvel actor looked breathtaking as he made his way with the singer to present the Best Production Design. The actor, in his recent interview with Men’s Journal, recalled the presentation and revealed he was reminding himself to not overthink.
“She’s been a major crush of mine for so long. I was just thinking, Don’t be annoying, don’t be annoying, shut up Chris, just shut up. Don’t be a d**khead. Don’t say anything, because you don’t know what to say,” he shared.
Evans successfully wooed the audience with his appearance beside JLo. At the time, several Twitter users wanted to see the two stars together. “Give @ChrisEvans & @JLo a rom com right now,” a tweet at the time read. “Can we get a #CaptainAmerica @ChrisEvans and @JLo Marvel movie cause come on they’re gorgeous together… btw Cap can take Jlo from A-Rod in a heart beat,” added another.
