Half of Voters Say They Have No Confidence Biden is ‘Up to the Job’

The ‘mainstream media’ won’t report it and the left-wing talking heads on cable news will rail against anyone who mentions it, but the fact is Joe Biden’s mental faculties are failing him and it’s patently obvious.

So much so, in fact, that if Donald Trump were still president and could not function at any higher level than Biden is right now, the calls to have him removed via the 25th Amendment would be on an endless news cycle loop (and with good reason, actually).

That said, while the leftie talking heads and news media want to pretend like everything is just fine, a majority of likely voters in a just-released survey have noticed anyway.

“A new poll suggests that 50% of likely voters are ‘not very confident’ or ‘not at all confident’ that Joe Biden ‘is physically and mentally up to the job of being President of the United States,’ versus 48% who are ‘very’ or ‘somewhat’ confident,” Breitbart News reported, citing a Rasmussen Reports survey taken March 4-7.

The biggest takeaway is that nearly half the people polled are obviously illiterate, have been living in caves, or, more likely are hopelessly partisan towards Democrats.

Only about one-third — 34 percent — of likely voters said they were “very confident” in Biden’s ability to execute his duties versus 40 percent who are “not at all confident” he can, the survey noted.

More than half expressed concern that Biden hasn’t even held his first press conference yet 50 days into his administration, and just 37 percent believe he can win reelection in 2024. Then again, nearly a third, or 30 percent, think he’s going to resign before then anyway (and why isn’t that percentage higher?).

Mind you, this survey came before Biden’s latest demonstration he’s not competent enough to be commander-in-chief. On Monday, he forgot the name of the man he just nominated to be secretary of defense — Lloyd Austin — as well as the name of the building he works in, the Pentagon.

“I want to thank you both and I wanna thank the… the, uh, the uh, former general, I keep calling him general, but my, uh…the guy who runs that outfit over there,” Biden stammered.

“I wanna make sure we thank the secretary for all he’s done to try to implement what we just talked about,” he continued, “and for recommending these two women for promotion. Thank you all, may God bless you all, and may God protect our troops.”

This is far from the first time Biden has struggled or the first time anyone’s noticed — that is, anyone who’s being fair-minded.

“I’ve known him a long time, and he can sometimes work himself up into kind of a passion in speeches and so on when he was arguing about issues and so on in a debate,” Hume said about a year ago after Biden, on the campaign trail, blew up at a Detroit autoworker.

“But I don’t remember him exploding at voters like he did in this incident today, and hurling profanity the way he did, telling the guy he was ‘full of spit,’ except he didn’t say ‘spit’. That’s something new,” Hume added.

“It is a complete difference from what he was in 2017,” Mike McCormick, who spent 15 years as a stenographer at the White House, said last fall. “He’s lost a step and he doesn’t seem to have the same mental acuity as he did four years ago.”

“Not a joke and not hyperbole – I’m hearing from people close to the situation that Biden’s cognitive decline is rapidly worsening and is becoming increasingly difficult to mask. The Democrats are going to have to make a decision soon,” conservative podcaster and former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino tweeted in August.
