During their brief conversation, Ellen DeGeneres talked about Kardashian’s COVID-19 diagnosis last March. The scary incident is featured in Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
The comedian then talked about the cancelation of the hit reality TV show. DeGeneres asked Kardashian if what Kris Jenner said was true that she’s the one who’s taking the cancelation the hardest.
Kardashian said that her mom was right because she’s so attached to the staff and crew of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. DeGeneres then pitched an idea for a spinoff to True Thompson’s mom to make her and her audiences laugh.
DeGeneres appears in a teaser for Keeping Up With Karla, where she portrays the role of one of Kardashian’s fake siblings. In true Keeping Up With the Kardashians fashion, DeGeneres is wearing an animal print blouse and black pants. She is also wearing prosthetics to make her look like the Kardashian siblings.
Fans of DeGeneres and the reality TV show found the teaser to be hilarious. They also said that they will definitely be watching a spinoff if it stars Ellen DeGeneres as Karla.
“I’ll definitely keep up with Karla,” one fan wrote.
“Khloe and Karla are the Kardashians that I will keep up with,” another fan wrote.
“Keeping up with Karla… I’m in,” another person commented.
“Love you, Ellen! So happy you’re back! Love and adore you. Also know you’re gorgeous as always,” one fan commented.
But according to Cinema Blend, it must have been insulting for Kardashian to see DeGeneres’ parody video because the comedian is playing with her family’s accentuated body parts.
With regards to a Keeping Up With the Kardashians spinoff, there is still no word on this from the stars of the reality TV show. Kardashian also made it clear that she and her family want to focus on other things right but. But they’re not closing their doors on the possibility.
Meanwhile, DeGeneres is struggling with the ratings for Ellen Show. Following the premiere episode, there has, reportedly, been a steady decline when it comes to ratings every week.
According to Nielsen, the ratings for Ellen Show are 37 percent lower than the program’s ratings this time last year. And it is possible that the ratings were affected by the recent criticisms that Ellen DeGeneres and Ellen Show received.
