Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Parker Bowles are in Windsor. They are self-isolating separately after the heir apparent contracted the virus. According to a source, Camilla is in another area of the estate. The Duchess of Cornwall is concerned of her husband, but she remains positive of his condition.
“Both of them remain in good spirits,” a source told People. “There is a sense of keeping calm and carrying on. The duchess is concerned for him but she is aware of his own good spirits and therefore is keeping a close eye on him and mindful of her own situation. She is upbeat.”
Meanwhile, Dr. Dawn Harper said that like a common cold, there is no guarantee that if one member in the household contracts the disease, the rest will suffer the same. However, she went on and shared some tips for Camilla to keep herself free from the virus.
“Let’s hope the Duchess remains asymptomatic but she will need to take precautions to increase her chances of remaining symptom-free,” Harper said. “There is also some evidence that some people can contract the virus without developing symptoms. The Duchess should be sleeping in a separate room, using a separate bathroom and maintaining social distancing within the house.”
