The world is mourning the death of Goo Hara. The South Korean singer and actress passed away over the weekend. The 28-year-old K-Pop singer was found dead on Sunday. Her lifeless body was found in her Cheongdam home, in Seoul. While the cause of death is still unknown, the police are “keeping the possibility of suicide in consideration”. As the investigation continues over her final hours are going on, Hara’s last Instagram post gives us a hint at her final few hours.
The singer took to her Instagram account to share a picture of herself lying in bed. Wearing a red ensemble to bed, she was seen wrapped in covers as she took a selfie in her room and shared it on Saturday night. She captioned the breath-taking picture: Good Night (in the Korean language), wishing her 1.7 million followers. The picture’s comments section has now doubled up into a tributes platform.

The news of her death comes about six months after an alleged suicide attempt in May. Hara was reportedly hospitalised following in the summer following her alleged attempt. The 28-year-old apologised for causing “concerns and a commotion” over the incident. Yonhap news agency reports Hara attempted to commit suicide back in March as well. It is reported that her ex-boyfriend, hairdresser Choi Jong-bum, threatened to release a sex tape and “end her entertainment career.”
