Gwen Stefani Doesn’t Even Look Like Herself Anymore—Fans Are Freaking Out!

Gwen Stefani is known for her signature platinum blonde locks, and ever since her days as the front woman in the band “No Doubt” she has rocked a similar style. However, fans were left shocked last weekend when the 51-year-old singer instead wore a cropped black bob with fringe for a photoshoot in Wonderland Magazine.

Stefani has been gearing up to release new music, and recently shared a collection of images to Instagram from a stunning photoshoot for Wonderland Magazine. The singer was styled in a number of different looks, but the most shocking of all was a blunt black bob with short bangs. To compliment her new hair, Stefani rocked a ruffled lilac dress, showing off her toned back and arms.

The former The Voice judge captioned the image, “feeling like this emoji with a better outfit gx,” and garnered an onslaught of support in the comments from her 11.1 million followers. Makeup artist Kandee Johnson wrote, “Dark haired Gwen is stunnnnnning too!!!!!!,” and another fan commented, “Wedding dress vibes.” We wonder what Blake thinks!

Following the reveal of her new look, Stefani had a busy week celebrating her nomination for an ACM award with fiance Blake Shelton for their song “Nobody But You.” Clearly the pair’s chemistry extends beyond their relationship into musical compatibility!

This isn’t the first time that Stefani has experimented with switching up her signature blonde locks, recently recreating an iconic look from the beginning of her career where she rocked a bright blue bob with a trio of spiky buns atop her head. Gwen has been in the music industry for over 30 years and has continued to solidify her role as a trendsetter as time goes on. Who knows, maybe she’ll switch to a black bob for good!
