Happy anniversary Meghan and Harry! A look back at their wedding day

We honestly cannot believe that it has only been two years since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tied the knot.

The couple has been on quite the journey over the past 24 months, from welcoming their first child to leaving the royal family, a lot has happened.

And none of us could have known what was ahead for the royal couple.

The pair are marking two years of married bliss and we’re taking a look back at their wedding day.

They tied the knot at St George’s Chapel on the 19th of May 2018 with their nearest and dearest.

Meghan Markle walked down the aisle herself, well partially at least. The former actress was given away by her father-in-law Prince Charles, after her own father suffered a heart attack just days before the wedding.

She opted for a simple yet chic dress from British fashion house Givenchy with a gorgeous dramatic veil. The dress has been copied around the world by brides who want to add the Markle Sparkle to their wedding day.

It was also Meghan’s first royal tiara moment as the bride wore Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau tiara for her wedding day look.

Unlike Kate and William, the couple did not have a balcony kiss. Instead, they had a sweet moment on the steps outside the chapel.

The kiss, of course, is one of the most iconic moments of any royal wedding. And Meghan and Harry’s was no different.

The couple partied the night away at Frogmore House, the area they would go on to set up as their base in their short time as working royals.
