Official invitations for the 74-year-coronations old’s have been made public, confirming Camilla’s coronation at the historic event in May.
Royal sources tell The Mirror, the Duke of Sussex, who has previously insulted the Queen in his book and interviews, is one of the angry royals that some royal fans and analysts regard the move as a further blow.
The elaborate invitations, which are printed on recycled paper and have a flowery border and ask guests to join the “coronation of their majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla,” have been revealed for the first time by Buckingham Palace, much to the pleasure of the loyal fans.
For the first time, the Palace did not refer to Camilla as the “Queen Consort” when using the royal title. Prince George, the eldest child of Prince William and Kate Middleton, has been given an official position at the coronation.
Harry and Meghan, however, have not yet responded to the change. They have not yet made their attendance at the event definite. The King has also been notified by US President Joe Biden that he will not be able to attend the ceremony, but that First Lady Jill Biden will be a guest in his place.
