It’s believed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have helped biographers create an explosive new book.
They apparently spoke to two journalists who are writing a book provisionally entitled Thoroughly Modern Royals: The Real World Of Harry And Meghan.
The conversations took place before the couple moved to North America, according to The Mail on Sunday.
Harper’s Bazaar royal editor Omid Scobie and Elle’s royal correspondent Carolyn Durand are co-authoring the book together.
Harry and Meghan’s involvement in a royal biography isn’t the first time something like this has happened.
The couple appear to be taking after Princess Diana. She was famously involved in the blockbuster Diana: Her True Story when she encouraged her friends to speak to author Andrew Morton.
Meghan and Harry’s biography is due to be around 320-pages and will be released in August. According to sources, the book charts the Sussexes’ story from the outset of their romance.
This comes after the couple announced that they would no longer ‘engage’ with certain newspapers in protest at the way their lives are covered.
In a strongly-worded letter to The Guardian, they explained that they would never again speak or engage with the Daily Mail, The Mirror, The Sun or The Daily Express.
They wrote: ‘It is gravely concerning that an influential slice of the media, over many years, has sought to insulate themselves from taking accountability for what they say or print — even when they know it will be distorted, false, or invasive beyond reason. When power is enjoyed without responsibility, the trust we all place in this much-needed industry is degraded.’
