Diana ‘smacked’ Prince Harry for ‘casual racism’ against the bus driver, new book claims

A shocking new royal book says that Prince Harry was reportedly spanked by his late mother Princess Diana for being “casually” prejudiced toward a Punjabi bus driver in London.

The claim is made by Robert Jobson, a royal scholar, in his latest book, Our King: Charles III: The Man and the Monarch Exposed. Jobson, a prolific author of books on the Royal family, tells the tale of how Princess Diana took an eight-year-old Prince Harry on a special bus tour of London.

Inspector Ken Wharfe, a former police protection officer with whom Jobson collaborated to co-author a book on Diana in 2002, had arranged it for them. He writes in an excerpt from his new book, which is being serialized in the Daily Mail: “On the bus, Diana had to remind Harry to stop imitating the Sikh bus conductor’s strong Punjabi accent every time a passenger pressed the bell to get off.

Princess Anne was against King Charles marrying Camilla Parker Bowles

Diana was so humiliated that she ultimately instructed Ken Wharfe to cancel the trip, despite the cheerful conductor’s easygoing attitude towards Harry’s casual bigotry. “When Diana, Ken, William, and Harry arrived in Green Park, Diana slapped Harry and commanded him not to act in such a way again.

“She then forced Harry to write a letter of apology to Inspector Wharfe for his behavior and for ruining the day he had planned for the youngsters. “I’ve talked to Wharfe, who verifies the event, and I’ve also read the letter that he still has that has a jest from Harry about the language he used.”

He continued: “He may probably be pardoned because he was a toddler at the time, but the episode shows that Diana was in total accord with Charles on one matter at least. She would not put up with any racism coming from their two boys.
