Prince Harry talks about an uncomfortable chat with King Charles’s friend

There might be a few sideshows going on when King Charles III is ultimately crowned at his coronation next month. Whether or not Prince Harry and Meghan Markle accept their offer, they will undoubtedly be a topic of conversation.

Prince Andrew is anticipated to attend the ceremony on May 6 at Westminster Abbey, but he won’t have a formal role in it. The possibility that Andrew might not be allowed to wear the ceremonial robes that come with his rank as a Knight of the Order of the Garter has already been covered in British tabloids like the Daily Mirror.

The Duke of York, who has come under fire for his association with Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender, is expected to attend, it seems. In response to Virginia Giuffre’s complaint accusing Andrew of sexually assaulting her in 2001, Andrew had his military titles removed last year.

The claims against Andrew are untrue, and an undisclosed amount was agreed upon outside of court. This Is Why I Resist author and ardent Andrew detractor Shola Mos-Shogbamimu stated to Newsweek: “The fact that Prince Andrew would attend his brother’s coronation does not surprise me.

He is still the Duke of York and a prince of the realm. He still holds the title and enjoys the privileges that come with belonging to the royal family. He is a duke and is his brother.” “She said, “I think people might make a fuss over it, but it really depends on whether he is just attending or whether he has a special function.

I don’t see how he can’t attend if all he’s doing is showing up, in my opinion. He went to both of his parents’ funerals, so I would anticipate him going to this coronation as well. He also went to his father’s and mother’s funerals.”

The role Andrew played during the mourning of Queen Elizabeth II was emphasized by Nigel Cawthorne, the author of Prince Andrew, Maxwell, and the Palace. This includes the Vigil of the Princes, during which he stood watch as his mother lay in state at Westminster Hall days before her funeral.

According to Cawthorne’s statement to Newsweek, “I think there’ll be a lot of pressure to be there in some type of tiny capacity.” “It will be mentioned in Britain since [Andrew] did attend the Vigil of the Princes and marched around behind his mother’s casket without being attacked with eggs. The focus of the cameras, however, will be on the actual crowning.”

Andrew would not be permitted to stand on the balcony at Buckingham Palace, according to Cawthorne, who believed such privilege should only belong to Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.

He explained that Charles’ entire plan was to return to the time of George VI when there were only four of them on the balcony. “Charles, Camilla, William, Kate, and most likely not Harry or Meghan in this situation. So, they won’t be present.”

Together with his wife, Queen Elizabeth, and children Princess Margaret and the future Queen Elizabeth II, George VI appeared on the balcony.

In the meantime, Prince Andrew was recently advised not to write a tell-all memoir like Prince Harry’s by British writer Petronella Wyatt, a close friend of the Queen Consort, in response to public rumors that he was considering a book.

She said on Good Morning Britain, “Honestly, it’s the dumbest idea since the Titanic. “He wants to sort of clear his name and he wants everybody to love him but the more he tries to clear his name the worse he looks. A literary classic or a pleasant, endearing little book about “my beautiful mother the late Queen and why I was the favorite” is not anything I can imagine him penning.”
