Recent reports suggest that Prince William has effectively barred Prince Harry from rejoining the Royal Family without this significant gesture.
Grant Harrold, a former royal staffer, shared insights into the strained relationship between the royal siblings during an interview with Fox News Digital. Harrold highlighted the slim chances of reconciliation, pointing to the hurtful statements made by Prince Harry in his memoir “Spare.”
“The only way I see this happening is a public statement from Harry, where you come out and say that you were in a bad space and that [his memoir ‘Spare’] was a mistake,” Harrold explained. He emphasized the necessity of such an apology to mend the familial rift.
However, Harrold expressed deep skepticism about the likelihood of this occurring. “I don’t think that’s going to happen,” he remarked. “Some bad things were said, and some families never patch things up, and that’s how it is.”
The former royal staffer also touched on the emotional complexity of the situation, noting Prince Harry’s inner conflict. “Harry has got a big heart, and a part of him probably wishes things would be different,” Harrold added.
The ongoing discord between the brothers has captured public attention, with many speculating on the potential for a resolution. Despite this, the prospect of Prince Harry making the necessary public apology seems remote, casting doubt on any near-term reconciliation within the Royal Family.
