Jennifer Lopez Wore Two Head-Turning Looks in One Night

It was another fashion-filled day for Jennifer Lopez yesterday. Ahead of the release of her romantic-comedy Marry Me, J.Lo has been hitting the press circuit in New York City this week, wearing one stunning designer outfit after another. And on Friday alone, she delivered two head-turning looks in one night.

While making an appearance on The Tonight Show, Lopez began the evening in a backless, fire engine red gown that skimmed her curves. She accessorized with a pair of matching platform heels and a gold bangle bracelet on her wrist.

Her hair was pulled back into an elegant bun with two face-framing pieces. Within the hour, J.Lo switched gears and changed into an ultra-sexy two-piece number for a performance of the title track from the movie with Maluma.

The all-white look featured an extreme low-rise skirt that was held up by several strings of fabric that wrapped around her abs and up to her neck. For a shirt, J.Lo wore a tiny bra top underneath a matching cropped leather jacket. She let her hair down from the sleek updo she sported earlier and allowed her caramel tresses to cascade down her back in loose waves.

During her late-night interview, Lopez spoke about being able to combine her two loves of singing and acting in Marry Me. “This is the first time I got to like sing, make an album for a film, it is like joining my two worlds together,” she said. “It’s not like a Jennifer Lopez album or even a Maluma album. It’s a Kat and Bastian album.

These are songs that I really picked for the characters and that really, kind of, like, further along with the story, just like any good musical. And it really tells the love story. The journey of, you know, finding your true love.”

She went on to joke about the parallels between herself and her character in the film, Kat Valdez. “I also got to play a character who was a lot like myself, you know, she’s in the spotlight. Personal life, public life, trying to make it all work, you know, failing miserably at times.”
