The Big Bang Theory star Johnny Galecki and his girlfriend, Alaina Meyer, have welcomed their first child, a son. So, let’s just all take a moment and say BAZINGA! The couple announced the birth of their son Avery on social media on December 4. “With full and grateful hearts we welcome our beautiful son into this incredible world. Thank you for all of your love and support,” the actor posted on Instagram alongside a black and white picture of their newborn’s tiny little hands.
Galecki, 44, and Meyer, 22, announced the pregnancy in May “We are absolutely over the moon to announce that we will soon be welcoming a little one into this crazy and wonderful world,” the actor wrote on Instagram. Later the same month, they revealed the sex of their child. “A day I’ll never forget,” the actor wrote alongside a photo where he can be seen sharing a kiss with his lady love at a paint-daubed gender reveal party.
In October, taking to her social media, Meyer revealed that they are planning on naming their baby Avery. She shared a post of her standing in front of balloons that read ‘Avery’. “My amazing mama and auntie put together the most amazing celestial shower. I am so grateful for the sweetest, most amazing night, celebrating Avery. I cannot wait to meet this little man, only 4 weeks left. PS: My sweetheart Johnny Galecki sent so many sweet surprises and my heart couldn’t be more full and grateful,” the caption read. The two publicly confirmed their relationship in 2018, as they made their red carpet debut as a couple, holding hands.
