According to In Touch Weekly, Pitt may seem like an unlikely ally for Kanye West. But the actor’s been a great help to the rapper because he knows a thing or two about messy divorces.
“Talk about an odd couple. But Kanye and Brad have a strong bond, and Brad’s someone to lean on,” the source said.
Brad Pitt leaned on Kanye West post-Angelina Jolie divorce
Years ago, Pitt was, allegedly, the one that leaned on West after his divorce from Angelina Jolie. In 2019, the duo was spotted chatting at West’s church service.
“Back then, things were really bad with Angelina Jolie, so Brad was looking to Kanye for answers. Now, he’s talking about what life is like after a high-profile divorce, suggesting Kanye seek therapy and sharing how the kids were affected,” the source said.
Brad Pitt giving the rapper advice regarding court proceedings
Pitt has also, allegedly, been talking to West about what he could expect with the court proceedings.
After all, the lawyer that Kardashian is working with is the same person that Jolie turned to in 2016.
“Kanye doesn’t have many close friends or family right now, so he’s grateful to have someone like Brad. He may even get a shoutout in Kanye’s next song,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There is no proof that Kanye West has been leaning on Pitt amid his ongoing divorce with Kardashian.
Kanye West trying to get revenge on Kim Kardashian
Meanwhile, the rapper also made headlines this week after Life & Style claimed that he’s making a play for his wife’s massive jewelry collection.
“He’s bitter and wants revenge. So, Kanye has been going around town trying to sell off her jewelry. It’s petty. Yes, legal fees are costing a fortune in the divorce but it’s not like he needs the money,” the source said.
But by the looks of it, this is just another way for the tabloids to pit West and Kardashian against each other.
It’s also unlikely for tabloids to know details about the couple’s divorce since Kanye West and Kardashian haven’t publicly discussed it.
