Prince William and Kate Middleton have changed since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left royal life, it has been claimed.
Royal biographer Angela Levin said the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge now seem more “relaxed”.
She suggested this is because they no longer feel “under attack” since Harry, 36, and Meghan, 39, stepped back as senior royals in March.
The decision by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex – dubbed ‘Megxit’ – shocked the world, with rumours of a rift between the two brothers.
But William and Kate, both 38, have been busy continuing with their royal duties.
This week, they carried out a whistle-stop train tour of the UK to thank frontline workers for their efforts during the coronavirus pandemic.
Ms Levin told talkRADIO the couple had been seen laughing during the tour.
She said: “Kate was moving to the music and they’re very, very easy with each other.
“I think there’s been a big change since Harry and Meghan have gone that they feel more relaxed.
“Maybe not under attack and they feel very much like a team, you can feel that.”
She heaped praise on their work thanking frontline staff.
The biographer added: “You can see that they’re natural together and they both are hoping to do the right thing at the right time.
“And the way they talk and interchange, sometimes he does and sometimes she does.”
At the end of their tour, the couple reunited with the Queen and Prince Charles at Windsor Castle for the first time since lockdown.
But their decision to visit Scotland earlier this week led to accusations they had broken Covid Tier restrictions.
Under current Scottish regulations, it is illegal to travel between England and Scotland unless there is a reasonable excuse.
