The peacemaker between Prince William and Prince Harry is said to be Kate Middleton. She is said to have made it possible for them to speak and for Meghan Markle to feel welcome in the past. The Platinum Jubilee, on the other hand, is said to have expressed her disappointment with the couple, as per IB Times.
During the four-day celebrations, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge did not publicly mix with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. They were all present for the St. Paul’s Cathedral Thanksgiving Service on June 3, but neither side recognized the other.
During mass, Prince Harry reportedly sought to capture his brother’s eye, but Prince William refused to respond. Others, on the other hand, stated that Kate Middleton said “wow” when she looked in the couple’s direction.
“It seemed clear that Kate had no interest in playing nice with Meghan,” a source told Heat magazine.
The insider added, “And sad as it is, William feels the same. The view is that the Sussexes were lucky to receive any type of goodwill after the damage and embarrassment they’ve caused the monarchy. Neither side looks likely to back down.”
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, Meghan Markle made some serious claims regarding Kate Middleton. She claimed the duchess made her cry in the months leading up to her May 2019 wedding to Prince Harry, but she apologized with a note and flowers. She also accused a senior royal of being racist for inquiring about the skin color of their son Archie.
The charges are reported to have upset Prince William deeply. He even informed reporters that his family is not racist, but his wife has kept silent since then.
In January 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties. Despite the fact that they left the royal family and insulted the Firm during an Oprah interview, Queen Elizabeth II still regards them as family. They were given their own trip down the aisle at the Thanksgiving Service, in fact. The pair sat on the opposite side of the cathedral from Prince William, Kate Middleton, and the rest of the working royals.
