When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were expecting their first child, there were rumors that Middleton was pregnant, too. Apparently, that wasn’t the case.
However, according to royal biographer Phil Dampier, chances are high that Middleton might get pregnant during the coronavirus lockdown. The future king and queen are spending more time at home and Middleton appears “happier” than ever. Their time together could make the royal mom of three more broody.
“I’ve thought for some time Kate wants a fourth child and I think the lockdown has increased the chances of it happening,” Dampier said.
“I’ve always thought the lockdown will result in a baby boom generally, so it wouldn’t surprise me if the Cambridges join the club! She loves it there and it’s the closest they get to a normal family life, so spending time there together will make her more broody.”
Dampier also noted Middleton’s reaction to the news about a newborn baby during a video call with Rebecca and John, who had just welcomed a baby boy. Middleton was so sweet when she congratulated the new parents, which could be a telling sign.
“Kate looked very maternal when she was talking over a video link to a woman who had just given birth and I’m sure it made her feel like adding to her own family,” Dampier added.
In March, Prince William and Middleton visited Ireland. When the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge dropped by at the Home of Guiness in Dublin, they drank a pint of Guinness.
However, several noticed that Middleton didn’t really drink the entire glass. She just took a sip and had the foam. This prompted Twitter users to speculate that the duchess could be pregnant because she didn’t drink the entire glass of beer.
