The iconic model looked perfectly preened as she arrived at her mate's shindig in a floor-length black dress, boots and leather jacket

She’s the fashion force who first helped relaunch John Galliano‘s career in 2013. And on Monday, as the designer made his return to the catwalk for Maison Martin Margiela, Kate Moss was his faithful front row supporter in London.

The 40-year-old supermodel was in attendance to see John’s returning haute couture collection, after her was famously fired by Dior in 2011 for an anti-Semitic rant in a Parisian bar.

Kate led her rocker husband Jamie Hince out of the fashion show with both choosing to dress in gothic black and deep blue. She was still striking as she was captured leaving on Monday night, despite cloaking her famous frame in a high-neck satin dress that skimmed the floor as she walked.

Her golden tresses were worn in their signature unpolished style and she was recognisable only because of her high cheek bones and full pink lips.

Kate was lent a supportive hand by her husband of three years, Jamie, as he kept her close following the show. Ever so coolly, he paired black Chelsea boots with an all-navy outfit and injected colour into his garbs with a hippy necklace.

Galliano‘s return comes just as 10,000 extra members of security staff are deployed in the French capital to protect citizens after last week’s terror attacks caused 17 fatalities in Paris.

Ms Moss initially showed her support for the fashion friend in the December 2013 issue of British Vogue, which she covered. In her role of contributing fashion editor that month, she was styled by and pictured with John Galliano on the style bible’s pages.

The designer has previously praised the support of supermodel Kate for facilitating his move back into fashion. He was asked to design her wedding dress after his departure from Dior for her 2011 nuptials to Jamie.

At the time, he said it ‘saved him personally’ and this latest show will be an historic one for the fashion world.

The designer’s catwalk show is his first in London for 25 years and he will debut Paris couture in the city during London Fashion Week this February.
