The 22-year-old beat off competition from the likes of supermodels Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, to take the top spot in the results revealed to Style.com.
It’s been a successful year for the model, who has covered Sports Illustrated, landed two prestigious Vogue editorial spreads, and attended some of the glitziest events in the fashion calendar including the Met Gala.
Emerging supermodel Kendall Jenner was initially tipped to be the most searched for model, having taken the fashion world by storm with her highly successful Fashion Week debut, however she took second place instead.
The 19-year-old has walked for some of the industry’s biggest designers from Chanel to Givenchy, and has also been spotted mingling with fashion’s elite including becoming part of Olivier Rousteing’s ‘Balmain Army’.
Victoria’s Secret angel Karlie Kloss also featured in the top ten models of the full list. The 22-year-old has garnered a large social media fan base with over 1.7million followers on her Instagram account, and has graced high fashion catwalks alongside her role as a Victoria’s Secret ambassador.
Karlie was not the only angel included in the list – Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Lily Aldridge and Doutzen Kroes also made the final top 20.
Surprisingly, Cara Delevingne only took the sixteenth spot, despite a successful year on some of the biggest catwalks and on the glitziest red carpets, as well as winning ‘Model of the Year’ at the British Fashion Awards in November.
