Katie was even reported to be in a relationship with Jamie Foxx – something the alleged couple never admitted publicly.
Now, rumors are rife that Katie Holmes is facing financial troubles lately. Woman’s Day New Zealand, in its upcoming Aug. 24, 2020 issue, reported that The Secret: Dare to Dream star “has not been above teaming up with a commercial brand” to keep her money coming in.
The publication claimed that Katie is looking to make easy money that she allowed herself to be pictured inside a pharmacy while checking out skincare products. The mother of Suri Cruise, also, posed for a US-based mayonnaise brand, Olay, Neutrogena, and H. Stern jewelry.
“Look, there aren’t a lot of productions going ahead right now and everyone’s got to pay the bills,” an unnamed source close to Katie Holmes, allegedly, told the magazine. “She has an expensive home and a daughter to take care of. Good on her for finding a way to keep on top of her bank balance,” it went on.
This is not the first time that Katie was rumored to be having problems with her finances. In November, Star Magazine claimed, as per Gossip Cop, that the actress was living “paycheck to paycheck.”
An anonymous source told the tabloid that Katie has been pulling in $20k for red carpet events and that she wants to do a lot more since she has not been getting any acting gigs as of late.
It added that Katie Holmes wanted to earn like Kim Kardashian, whom she, allegedly, heard is getting $100k just to show up to a nightclub in Las Vegas. The same tipster even suggested that Katie’s “paychecks don’t match her ambition.”
Katie Holmes has yet to comment on these malicious reports. However, with Woman’s Day’s reputation of writing reports based on the accounts of its dubious insiders, this could be another baseless claim waiting to be debunked.
So, devoted followers of the Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark actress should take these speculations with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and accurate.
