Following the news about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce, a source revealed the exact reason why the two split.
In a statement to HollywoodLife, a source said that Kim reached her “final straw” that caused her to file for divorce.
“Kim and Kanye both had met with lawyers. Kim felt she tried everything to make the marriage work and Kanye was refusing to get the help she requested which was the final straw,” the source revealed.
The insider pointed out that Kim wanted to help the Jesus is King rapper with his bipolar disorder. But his refusal became the cause of their split.
Kim and even her mom, Kris Jenner, tried to help him undergo counseling. They even offered unconditional support, but Kanye kept refusing them.

The rapper never made his struggles publicize, not until he revealed it himself through an interview with late-night host, David Letterman.
Since then, Kim continuously displayed her worries about him and his mental health.
His episodes publicly occurred in the next following interviews. It is worth noting that, during his conversation with PageSix, Kanye opened up about a sensitive topic.
The I Love It rapper said something about how democrats brainwashed black Americans to abort their children. He also mentioned the former President of the United States, Donald Trump.
“I’m not telling nobody not to vote Democrat. I love Obama, I love lemonade, I love Wingstop, I love Polos, I love Jordans,” he said.
He also dropped a controversial statement in the past about George Bush. Per Kanye, Bush “doesn’t care about black people,” “slavery sounds like a choice,” and that his “greatest pain in life”.
Last year, the rapper caused an online commotion after he posted a series of since-deleted tweets. In one of the tweets, he revealed that Kim Kardashian tried to get him hospitalized.
“Kim tried to bring a doctor to lock me up with a doctor,” the rapper wrote. “I put my life on my God that North’s mom would never photograph her doing playboy and that’s on God I’m at the ranch … come and get me.”
