North, nine, is a big fan of social media, particularly TikTok, like many other children her age. The child has a TikTok account with her mother, but her use of the video platform is subject to a set of rules.
Kim, who is also the mother of Chicago, Psalm, and Saint, whom she has with ex-husband Kanye West, spoke to Gwyneth Paltrow on her Goop podcast, said: ‘It [TikTok] can only be on my own phone.’
Not only that, but the mother of four said that North is not permitted to use TikTok. ‘It’s not something where she can scroll and look at things,’ the reality TV star explained. ‘We don’t do comments,’ she went on, pointing out that North uses the app as a creative outlet only.
‘She loves to do it and it makes her so happy. She’s so innocent in so many ways,’ Kim continued.
As per Yahoo, Kim’s comments on North’s TikTok use came just days after Kanye went out against his daughter’s use of the app, claiming that she did it “against” his will. Kim recently stated that co-parenting may be “really f*cking hard” and that she is doing everything she can to protect her children from the effects of this.
