Fans may recall Kourtney Kardashian announced her plan to leave the show after having a massive fight with her sister, Kim Kardashian. According to Kourtney, she has grown tired of the series and wanted to focus more on her kids and businesses.
Kourtney promised to address KUWTK’s end
The 41-year-old star vowed to share her thoughts about KUWTK in a post on Instagram Stories.
Like the rest of her sisters’ post, she shared the same statement about the reality show’s ending.
The Poosh founder didn’t add any personal messages on the post but promised to talk about it after gathering her thoughts.
“I will gather my thoughts and share them in a bit…” she wrote. After that, she hasn’t posted anything to address the show’s cancelation.
According to Mirror Online, fans are desperate to know Kourtney’s side about the reality series’ conclusion.
After her infamous fight with Kim, she decided to quit the show after 14 years of continuous filming. At the time, she said she wanted to spend more time with her kids and work on her business.
Kourtney’s decision to leave “KUWTK”
In an interview with Vogue Arabia, Kourtney revealed she decided to leave the reality series for good. She realized she had shared a lot on the show, from the ins and outs of her life.
“I have been filming the show non-stop for 14 years, 19 seasons, and six spin-off seasons,” she said. “I was feeling unfulfilled, and it became a toxic environment for me to continue to have it occupy as much of my life as it was.”
She continued stepping away from the series would give her more time with Mason, 10, Penelope, 8, and Reign, 5. She also wanted to make her lifestyle site, Poosh, to grow.
“Life was moving so, so fast, even after taking a break from the show and attempting to slow down and give more time to my kids,” Kourtney added. “It wasn’t until this time that I have been able to learn their needs again, see their strengths, and be able to be connected as deeply as I once was, before juggling so much.”
The publication noted KUWTK Season 18 would mostly focus on Kourtney’s decision to leave.
Anyhow, she couldn’t deny the luxury KUWTK had provided for her family throughout.
“I am grateful for the incredible memories and life the show has given my family and me,” Kourtney Kardashian concluded.
