Kylie Jenner has signed a deal with Puma despite brother-in-law Kanye West saying it will "1000% never happen".
Earlier this month, Kanye – who collaborates with Adidas on his own line of Yeezy Boost trainers – hit out at Puma for trying to "divide the family".
He tweeted: "1000% there will never be a Kylie Puma anything. That’s on my family! 1000% Kylie is on Yeezy team!!!
"Puma we gone give you your measly million dollars back!!! Never try to divide the family!!! (sic).”
But the 18-year-old, who was snapped out in New York on Wednesday dressed in a block colour outfit and trainers, has still signed with the brand and will be featured in their spring/summer women’s training campaign which will launch in April.
The brand’s Global Director Adam Petrick confirmed the deal to Just Jared in a statement.
“I am pleased and excited to be able to confirm that PUMA is indeed working with Kylie Jenner. Kylie will be featured in the brand’s spring/summer women’s training campaign launching in April 2016.
"Kylie represents a fresh and exciting new era for fashion and we couldn’t think of a more fitting and influential female to headline this campaign for PUMA.”
