Twenty new countries have joined the British Fashion Council‘s International Fashion Showcase, which takes place during the month of February.
The platform, which was launched in February last year, sees 27 embassies display the work of 110 emerging designers. The event is open to both the public and members of the fashion press.
New countries to join the initiative for autumn/winter 2013-14 include Argentina, Bolivia, Jamaica, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Panama, Portugal, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Sweden, Tanzania, Uruguay and Vietnam. Each country will present their respective region’s most exciting design talents, giving a comprehensive view of the world’s rising fashion stars. – vogue
