Louis Vuitton Spring 2010 collection is out. It was exhibited on Wednesday, Oct. 7 in Paris. Jacobs, the designer of Spring 2010 Louis Vuitton collection described it as a look "embracing the hippie-cyber, tribal-punk world." Louis Vuitton created a practical high-performance platform. It combined rugged nylon and neoprene material choices. The handbags were more like traditional ruck-sack backpacks. Many of the handbags had fluffy tails and brightly colored tassels. The designer also created brown bags made of trash bag plastics. They represented everything about travelers thinking only about hiking and tracking.

Models in giant Afro wigs were walking on the runway in low-heeled PVC sandals with fur growing out of them, denim hot pants, leggings and giant fake accessories. All of them carried bags either swung over their shoulders or strapped around their waists like fanny packs.

The new Louis Vuitton Spring 2010 collection was aimed mainly at the young twenty something crowd, an attempt to keep the brand hip and youthful. This impression was reinforced by the comment made by the CEO of Louis Vuitton, Yves Carcelle, who said that the collection was a taste of what will be for sale next spring.
