Louise Gray has suspended her label for the next two seasons to focus on consulting for other labels and designers. She will continue designing and hopes to show at  London Fashion Week again in the future.

"It has not been an easy decision to step away from my own label, but at the same time, against the backdrop of a tough economic climate, I didn’t want to jeopardise a business that I have worked so hard to build," said Gray. "I’m looking forward to working on design and consultancy projects for major brands, as well as collaborating with my friends in London."

Although nothing has been confirmed as to which designers Gray will work with next, she is good friends with Christopher Kane, Jonathan Saunders, Henry Holland and Richard Nicoll – so has a full contact book to utilise. Her eponymous label has come to represent the boundary-free creativity that London is known for, with collections that are unapologetically bright, playful and loud. She has previously collaborated with Topshop and Brora, bringing her fun and colourful aesthetic to a wider audience.
