Maisie Williams has played sword-wielding tom boy Ayra Stark on the hit show Game Of Thrones, so we’d be forgiven for double-taking as she made a stunning appearance in London on Monday night.
The 18-year-old, who celebrated her milestone birthday last week, stepped out for The Falling gala screening in the capital wearing an ethereal grey taffeta dres.
The dress, with its delicate floral embellishments, had a midi full skirt, showing off Maisie’s silver pumps for the occasion. Confidently posing for the cameras ahead of the screening, the teen actress showed off the stunning gown.
Maisie tied her brunette locks into a subtle up-do with a centre parting and two loose curls. She recently claimed that she was petrified about her character’s future on the HBO series.
"It’s petrifying because no one knows what’s going to happen,” she told Digital Spy. "Whether Arya makes it through to the end of this season is another thing and whether next year I make it for very long."
She added: "It’s nice because it means you get to surprise the audience and the people who’ve read the books – they still don’t really know what’s going on, but it’s also very nerve wracking."
The star’s new movie centres around a fainting epidemic that hits a girls school in the 60s, where she plays troubled schoolgirl Lydia opposite Florence Pugh and Maxine Peake.
