But some celebs walked a limited red carpet—including Margot Robbie. When we saw her wearing THIS dress, we had to sit down!
The blonde beauty definitely brought her A-game to the Golden Globes with this stunning look. Margot wore head-to-toe Chanel—literally: Chanel dress, Chanel belt, Chanel purse= #GOALS.
The high-slit dress was our personal favorite detail that added just enough of a sultry detail to her classic look.
Unlike last year, when she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in Bombshell, the 30-year-old star wasn’t nominated for her on-screen performance this year.
But she still managed to look like an absolute bombshell regardless.
And while Margot might not have been nominated for her acting but her production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, was nominated in four different categories.
The most-anticipated category included: Best Drama Motion Picture for Promising Young Woman starring Carey Mulligan.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in December of last year, Margot expressed her mission to shed light on female-led stories and storytellers. She said, “It was really that we wanted to expand what female stories and female storytellers could do in this industry, and I don’t need to be onscreen for that to happen.
But it’s a wonderful position to be in since my platform can also open some of those doors. And especially at the beginning, there were a lot of first- and second-time filmmakers that we wanted to work with, and you can’t get something greenlit without a bankable name attached and I’m so lucky to fall into that bracket [of bankable names]. But I’m not right for every role. I felt that way about Promising Young Woman.”
Margot’s mission is one we can totally support, and Promising Young Woman is a riveting and complex film worth watching and reflecting on.
