According to The Mirror, Meghan Markle’s decision to leave her baby, Archie, in Canada, while she and husband Harry fly back to the U.K. is calling quit a security headache for her bodyguards to the tune of $50,000.
Maybe Meghan thinks leaving their child in Canada is a way to hurt the Royal Family from seeing their new edition, I am not sure, but the problem here is this couple who seek financial independence are now asking for security teams on two separate continents, which is stretching them thin.
I know this story doesn’t mean to much to most Americans, some of us worry about Prince Harry because we remember when he was born and how Princess Diana was so proud of her new son and to see this happen to him is a dramatic shame.
Think about this; British taxpayers are being burdened with spending millions in security for a “royal-less” couple living abroad in another country. Ain’t that a kick in the teeth.
While taxpayer-funded bodyguards will have to protect her in London, others will need to stay in Canada to guard little Archie. Harry arrived ahead of his wife last week. They are both expected to attend a Commonwealth Day service with the Queen at Westminster Abbey on March 9 – their final royal engagement. But the couple’s jet-setting lifestyle is reportedly causing a “real headache” for the Metropolitan Police, whose officers serve as Meghan, Harry and Archie’s minders. The force pays for the officers’ salaries, overtime, overseas allowance, pensions, flights and accommodation – all of which spiral in cost whenever Meghan and Harry travel abroad.
12 OFFICERS AND £20 MILLION PER YEAR TO DEFEND 2 USELESS NOBODIES??
Harry and Markle’s security detail is branded ‘unworkable’ as costs for the Sussexes set to soar to £20m a yearhttps://t.co/hxziACb8tp— Only One Kate (@grazia747) February 26, 2020
It is disgraceful that the British taxpayer has been billed another £50,000 so that MEghan and Harry can leave their child and go on a trip. It is unlikely they will appreciate that this is the average annual salary of two hard-working people. https://t.co/rwz5mk39tP

Harry.
As Captain General of the Royal Marines you skipped the memorial – for 11 of our best – to punt Markle for voice overs at Disney’s Lion King
You have made poor choices. Now you have to own them. Your security bill is exactly that. Yours.

So basically we’re expected to stump up £20m a year to fund a pair of work dodging brats living in another country because they hate the UK?
I don’t think I can tweet what the first thing that comes to mind is, but the second word is off. https://t.co/pNUWc1mQ6F— Lynn Glass (@GlassCorridor) February 29, 2020
Poor Harry! His gold-digging wife used him for her selfish purposes. And now, even if he wanted to fix the mess he’s made of himself and his family, he can’t do it. He’s bound to her forever and her demands.
For those of you that do not understand The Royals and everything that family has had to suffer and entertain, maybe you should check it out and read up on it. Americans have their bias against the U.K., but the Royal Family’s history has seen its share of individuals like Markle before, and it destroys the very fabric of their internal linkage.
