Meghan Markle got carried away with royal life and eventually found it boring.
Actor David Spade shared his thoughts on Prince Harry and Markle’s exit from the royal family in an episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” For to the former “Saturday Night Live“ actor, Markle got carried away with the royal life but eventually found it boring.
“I feel like she gets swept off her feet like the dream,” Spade said.
“She goes over to England and she has this crazy wedding and she’s literally royalty but then it gets a little mundane and she’s like, ‘All right, let’s head back to LA. I’ve got to go to my Cold Reading class on Pico again and just get back into acting.’ I think the fun part was over and now she sort of got a little bored.”
The comedian also joked that perhaps Markle found Buckingham Palace “too big.”
“I was just looking. There’s a two-bedroom condo over in Toluca Lake,” he said while imitating the duchess’ accent.
The “Rules of Engagement” star went on with his joke and compared the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to the Kardashians, who are famous for their last name.
“They’re stepping on the Kardashians of being famous for doing nothing. The Kardashians are mad. They don’t want ‘em here,” Spade continued.
Meanwhile, Markle’s estranged brother recently revealed that she has always wanted to be a princess. According to Thomas Markle Jr., her sister has always wanted to be a princess because that’s part of every little girl’s dream. He also believed that Markle made a devious plan to run into Prince Harry in Toronto.
He said that when Markle’s friend introduced her to Prince William’s brother, she already decided that he was her prince charming.
