Controversies surrounding Meghan Markle and Prince Harry continue to develop in recent weeks. While nearly a year has passed since their exit, they have seemingly remained in the middle of the media’s spotlight.
Ahead of the Megxit review, the public learned that the Sussex couple would no longer return to their royal posts. This has since sparked several talks among royal experts and fans.
The Daily Express released a report on Saturday detailing what Richard Fitzwilliams had to say. The royal commentator shared his thoughts about the Sussexes, as well as his speculations.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will remain at the center of reports
Speaking to the publication, the royal expert claimed that the public’s “obsessive fascination” will not stop, even in the future. He explained that, unless they patch things with the rest of the British Royal Family, the media will always focus its attention toward Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
Fitzwilliams continued that the public’s attention on the Sussex couple’s lives will remain apparent. In “everything they do,” especially on royal events and engagements, the eyes will follow.
This comes after he speculated that Duke and Duchess of Sussex will likely still attend royal occasions in the future. He, however, argued that they would not like this kind of attention, and neither the British Royals.
Sussexes have no plans to stop
On Friday, Prince Harry had an outdoor interview with James Corden for The Late Late Show. The pair discussed several matters, including his and Meghan Markle’s current stand in the United States and the British Monarchy.
The Duke of Sussex emphasized that there is a difference between “stepping back” and “stepping down.” He stated that what they did was the former rather than the latter.
The royal-born Prince continued that he will “never walk away,” adding that he will always contribute. He also pointed out that his life is “public service,” and that will always remain the same wherever he goes.
Interview with Oprah Winfrey
Prince Harry’s interview with James Corden will not be the last material that he and his wife will do. In March, Oprah Winfrey will drop her recent interview with the Sussexes.
The high-profile personality also reportedly described her sit-down talk with Meghan Markle and her husband as the “best” material she has ever done. The assertions came from her best friend, Gayle King, according to the Daily Mail.
