Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s Royal Exit Will Be Dramatized On Lifetime

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal exit will be dramatized in a new film on Lifetime.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced in January that they were stepping back as senior members of the royal family. In March, they carried out their final engagement before moving to the U.S.

Prince Harry and Markle’s decision to leave the royal family was surrounded with a lot of controversies. According to previous reports, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles were not informed before they made the announcement in public.

There were also claims that they wanted to live far from the royals because they were feuding with Prince William and Kate Middleton. Some alleged that Markle was unhappy with the royal protocols.

The questions about Prince Harry and Markle might be answered in the upcoming film on Lifetime that will cover the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s royal exit. Fox obtained a copy of the press release and the new movie has a working title “Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace.”

It will serve as the third installment of the series of movies that the network produced for the couple. It previously aired “Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance” and “Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal.”

“Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace” will be about Megxit because it will follow “the couple’s controversial conscious uncoupling from the crown, after the birth of their son Archie.”

“The movie details the struggles of the new parents and unique challenges of being part of the royal family, which ultimately led Harry and Meghan to give up their royal ties to forge a new life on their own terms,” the press release read.

Scarlett Lacey will be writing the script. Meanwhile, Merideth Finn and Michele Weiss will serve as executive producers.

Aside from the upcoming movie about Prince Harry and Markle, they have a bombshell biography on the way. Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand worked together for the Sussexes’ tell-all book entitled “Finding Freedom.“
